Created for the exhibition "Moving Cities, Moving Type" at the Fokker Terminal. The exhibition was about futurstic type in the public space, how does type change in relation to ever growing cities? Together with Josephine van Schendel we created a non existing company called VR Smash that provides virtual reality porn and has their own brand of glasses. We see a future with advertisement in the public sphere that adapts to the individual walking past. In this case, to a porn company that could specifically generate sentences towards an individual that is, for example, waiting for a bus whilst his/her fellow citizens are around them. To create this awkward situation we build an application that is connected to a camera. When the camera "sees" a face, the VR glasses would be placed on their face and sentences like "Last Night You Were Up For It" shown on a screen.
